Rafael Alencar (Born: July 18, 1978) left behind a career in dentistry for the gay adult industry after being spotted by director Kristen Bjorn. Alencar worked in the dental field for three years until he found out he could make more money by modeling underwear. That's when Bjorn discovered him. Papi Chulo: How long have you been in the adult industry?
Rafael Alencar: Six years.
PC: How did you get into the adult industry?
RA: After refusing many times, I decided to accept Kristen Bjorn's invitation.
PC: How did you come up with your porn name?
RA: It's my real name.
PC: Have you always been interested in doing porn?
RA: Not really, I just like sex... a lot.
PC: What was your first day on a porn set like?
RA: I liked. It was a hot hook up with people watching me with cameras. It was ParaShooter for Kristen Bjorn.
PC: You have starred for some of the biggest companies in the industry (i.e. Studio 2000, Hot House Entertainment, Raging Stallion Studios, Lucas Entertainment). Is there a particular company you enjoy working for the most?
RA: Each one has their good and bad aspects. I like the good quality of Hot House, but I don't like the crew talking while the model suffers, waiting with a headache and wasting time with a hard on. I like the speed and natural ways that Raging Stallion and Lucas Entertainment do their movies.
PC: Which production companies have you been an exclusive with in the past?
RA: I was an exclusive for Studio 2000. I refused Falcon many years ago and all the others. It's not worth it for the model at all.
PC: Who has been your favorite scene-mate to work with?
RA: I always like the last partners I worked in the movies. I like all them.
PC: What do you enjoy most about starring in porn scenes?
RA: Behind-the-scenes on the DVDs and when I fuck the models for real behind-the-scenes that doesn't come out on the DVDs.
PC: What kind of scenes do you enjoy being in the most?

PC: Some of my favorite films you have starred in are Obsession of D.O., GRUNTS and Pounding the Pavement. Do you have any memorable experiences working on those features?
RA: Obsession. I directed it and loved it. GRUNTS was just a regular scene. And there were too many people in it. Pounding the Pavement I liked the most 'cause I was surrounded by friends. And it was a New York production.
PC: Who have you been working with recently?
RA: Lately I have been working with only Lucas Entertainment. A sort of non-exclusive contract.
PC: Your scene in Lucas Entertainment's Wall Street is highly erotic. What was it like to shoot that scene with Ben Andrews in a subway train?
RA: That scene took forever to be done. I was excited to play on public. I am sure it's gonna get nominated.
PC: Do you find it easier to play a character and get into the motivation of a scene with a storyline? Or do you enjoy when a scene is just wall-to-wall sex?
RA: I like both ways. As long as I end up with my cock inside the model's hole.
PC: You have been predominately a top in films. Have you ever thought of bottoming on-camera?

PC: You have dabbled in directing. What was it like to hold your directorial debut in your hands for the first time?
RA: I've directed five movies. I loved it. I gave up, because of the pressure on it. That's because I understand when Michael Lucas becomes a bitch on the set. It's stressful work. But, I also like him because he lets me free to do what I want, and he knows in the end the scene will be even better than he expect.
PC: Will you be directing more in the future?
RA: God damn no! But as I said, Michael Lucas leaves me free to "direct" my own scene. So, I am happy with that.

RA: Uh... I don't know. I'm probably gonna end up editing or shooting porn videos behind-the-scenes. Otherwise, I will just be going back to my Dentist career that I put on hold to become a porn star.
PC: Where do you see yourself in five years?
RA: In New York, going to the movie theater and fucking hot bottoms in the city. But, still traveling around the world.

RA: Since I've lived in New York, the past five years, I have never had a Big Mac or a Whopper. I am totally out of the loop about these junky food.

RA: I like both.
PC: What's your favorite color?
RA: Grey and dark (army) green.
