ABC May Remake Charlie's Angels for TV

ABC is close to greenlighting a pilot order for a modern version of Charlie's Angels.

Josh Friedman (of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fame) is onboard to write and executive produce the new series. Original Charlie's Angels producer Leonard Goldberg is also involved, as well as Drew Barrymore, who starred in and produced the 2000 film version and its sequel.

The original series ran from 1976-81.
