Captain EO Returns to Disneyland

Disney Parks has announced that it will be bringing back Captain EO to Disneyland for a limited engagement in February 2010.

The cutting-edge song-and-dance spectacle, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, produced by George Lucas and costarring Anjelica Huston as the Witch Queen, starred Michael Jackson as the titular hero. It premiered at Disneyland in 1986 and became a signature attraction in Disney Parks throughout the globe.

Honey I Shrunk The Audience will close soon to make way for the groundbreaking 17-minute 3D film spectacle.

There is no word on whether the attraction will return to Walt Disney World's EPCOT or the other Disney Parks around the world.
