Raging Stallion Studios 2010 Man of the Year David Taylor has taken the gay adult industry by storm. The new Raging Stallion exclusive starred in several films for the company, including the gay production powerhouses' fall blockbuster Focus/Refocus.
Standing 6'3 and weighing 225 lbs, David Taylor was always the athlete. Ever since he was a child, David was into sports and fitness. He was the captain of his football, hockey and lacrosse teams in high school. After a college scholarship and a tour with the Marine Corp took him east, he returned to his native California and began work as a model/actor. Now the blond-haired, blue-eyed hunk works as a personal trainer, spokesperson for RealTouch and exclusive for Raging Stallion.
I recently sat down with David to talk about how he got into the gay adult industry, his favorite co-stars, Focus/Refocus, his bareback past and his future plans in the adult industry.
Papi Chulo: How long have you been in the adult industry?
David Taylor: I dabbled a bit in 2008, but dove in with Raging Stallion in the beginning of 2009.
PC: How did you get into the adult industry?
DT: I answered a job offer on the internet for Abercrombie and Finch looking guys to do some adult modeling. And the rest is history.
PC: How did you come up with your porn name?
DT: "David" is my middle name and I like the name "Taylor", so it just kind of fit.
PC: Were you always interested in doing porn?
DT: I was. I thought as a kid watching porn, "Ah, that would be a sweet job." However, I never thought I would be doing it.
PC: What was your first day on a porn set like?
DT: It was really a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. It was very excited to be on an actual set.
PC: Who has been your favorite scene-mate to work with?
DT: It wouldn't be fair to just pick one. But, in the last movie Focus/Refocus, the scene with Cole Streets where we're in bed together was really exciting. We were video taping ourselves as they were filming us.
PC: What do you enjoy most about starring in porn scenes?
DT: The variety of hot guys that I get to fuck and getting paid for it. (LOL)
PC: Last year, you starred (among many) in Chi Chi LaRue's fetish flick Taken: To The Lowest Level. Do you enjoy doing fetish porn?
DT: It was an amazing experience working with Chi Chi LaRue. He is one of the most creative and talented directors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. His vision and direction is brilliant.
PC: For being a performer that's relatively "new" to the industry, you have starred in several popular productions, such as Screwed, Taken: To The Lowest Level and The Visitor. Overall, what has been your most favorite production to work on?
DT: Actually my newest movie, Focus/Refocus, was my most favorite production to work on. I didn't only get to perform and exhibit my sexual side, but I also got to express my more dramatic side.
PC: How did you link up with Raging Stallion Studios?
DT: Howard from FabScout introduced me to Chris Ward.
PC: How long is your exclusive contract for?
DT: It is going to go into negotiations soon.
PC: You star in Raging Stallion Studios' big fall blockbuster Focus/Refocus. What was it like to shoot that massive film noir epic?
DT: It was amazing. I felt like I was back in mainstream work, having to memorize lines and having actual scenes with various locations. I loved it.
PC: Your character is psychologically (and sexually) complex. Did you enjoy playing the role of the villain?
DT: I thought it was so much fun to tap into your crazier side.
PC: Your character pretty much "rapes" Scott Tanner and Cole Streets in Focus/Refocus. What was it like to shoot those two intense scenes?
DT: At first it was hard to not have your mind say, "What the hell?!?" But, you know you're acting, so it was OK.
PC: You were featured in a straight porn scene on the website SG4GE. Do you classify yourself as bisexual?
DT: Yes, I would say that I am bisexual. I love to be with women, but men are so much fun.
PC: When did you first realize you were also attracted to men?
DT: I think I have always been drawn to beauty, whether male or female.
PC: How big are you below the waist?
DT: 8 inches.
PC: How and when did you lose your virginity?
DT: 14. To my girlfriend in high school.
PC: What do you enjoy doing sexually?
DT: Everything... (LOL) (LOL)
PC: Do you get into any kinds of fetishes?
DT: I think leather is very cool.

DT: Yes. I played college lacrosse and have always been an athlete. Football, hockey, lacrosse, soccer... you name it, I played it. It is just part of who I am.
PC: Some of your first porn scenes were in bareback productions. What is your opinion on bareback porn's popularity in the gay adult industry?
DT: I didn't know better. I thought it was OK because straight porn does it. (LOL) Silly me.
PC: What led to your decision to do bareback porn? And, would you ever do it again?
DT: I really thought that is how it was done. I didn't know condoms were used. And no, I wouldn't.

PC: Overall, what was one of your most memorable experiences working in the mainstream entertainment industry?
DT: A modeling shoot I did in Hawaii. We had to stay longer because it stormed so much and we couldn't shoot. It turned into a paid vacation in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
PC: What upcoming projects can we expect to see you in?
DT: I just shot for Raging in January a very cool movie.
PC: What are your future plans in the industry?
DT: To learn as much as I can, and to bring my art and passion alive in producing my own films.

DT: My favorite show is Family Guy. I absolutely love that show. I also like to watch CSI, Dexter, True Blood and Californication.

DT: I can hear myself getting fatter reading this question. (LOL) (LOL)
PC: Disney or Warner Bros?
DT: Warner Bros.
PC: What's your favorite color?
DT: Green.

DT: Laying on a beach in the Caribbean sipping on gin and juice. (LOL)
