Platinum Pictures Inc. super star Lorenzo Loretto was the victim of a tragic and brutal assault after a New Year's Eve party almost two months ago. Platinum Pictures Inc. Chief Executive Officer and Founder Baby Boss has been by his side at the hospital since the ordeal occurred and issued this press release EXCLUSIVELY to Papi Chulo's BLOG and Papi Chulo RADIO detailing Lorenzo's miraculous recovery.
Porn star and actor Lorenzo Loretto has been called the man of steel before, but people were referring to his dick. Now the superman references are regrading his recovery from a traumatic brain injury as a result of a New Year's Day assault.Although the details are still shrouded in some dubious accounts of witnesses, the basics of the story indicate that this attack was in no way related to his career as an actor or porn star. There is not even an indication that his assailants know who his career.
According to a couple of people with Lorenzo, he was a passenger in a vehicle with a female friend, and two other acquaintances. They were getting a ride home from a New Year's Eve party. While in North Philadelphia there was some sort of a minor traffic incident involving another vehicle and the car in which Lorenzo was a passenger.
No one has been able to explain why Lorenzo and his female acquaintance became targeted as passengers, nor explain the personal vicious nature of the attack. Lorenzo was defending himself, one man against six other men. The female acquaintance was alleged to have been fighting two females at the same time. A seventh male entered the scene with a blunt object (reportedly a bat) and hit Lorenzo from behind knocking him to the ground. The assault continued until a local resident yelled that he was calling the police.
Lorenzo suffered a severe brain injury and his brain swelled uncontrollably. Doctors and neurosurgeons were not optimistic about Lorenzo's chance of survival. Platinum Pictures Inc.'s CEO, Baby Boss stopped all business activities for the month of January 2012 while she remained by Lorenzo's bedside and consulted with Lorenzo's doctors.
Over the course of the next week, Lorenzo would undergo two planned surgeries and one unplanned emergency surgery. Lorenzo was then placed in a chemically induced comma, where he'd lay for two weeks. In late January 2012, Lorenzo opened his eyes and days later he began to speak. After a few small setbacks he rallied again and left the hospital with the nick name "Miracle Man' and entered rehabilitation.
Now in rehabilitation, he is by far surpassing all expectations and is expected to go home soon. Although he has expressed a desire to return to his adult work at Platinum Pictures Inc, there is no official status on his career at this time. We had been in production of a new series just prior to this incident. That project has been shelved until further notice.
