ABC Announces Premieres of Mr. Sunshine and Happy Endings, Shuffles Wednesday Schedule

ABC has announced the premiere dates of freshman comedies Mr. Sunshine and Happy Endings.

Mr. Sunshine will debut February 9 after Modern Family, while Happy Endings joins the schedule on April 13 during a new hour-block of comedies.

Sunshine temporarily replaces Cougar Town. CT returns to its regular timeslot on April 13. Endings and reruns of Modern Family will follow the run of Off the Map.

The Wednesday schedule for February 9 through April 6 is as follows:

9pm Modern Family
9:30pm Mr. Sunshine
10pm Off the Map

FIRST LOOK :: Jennifer Aniston on ABC's Cougar Town

Jennifer Aniston will guest-star on the season premiere of ABC's Cougar Town.

In the episode, Jen plays Bonnie, Jules' too-good-to-be-true therapist... The kind of therapist that will get too involved with Jules' life.

Titled "All Mixed Up", here's the episode's synopsis:

Jules finds an instant connection with her new shrink, Glenn (Jennifer Aniston), until she discovers the unfortunate but hilarious truth about her method of treatment; Ellie is jealous over Jules’ fondness for Glenn; a bet between Laurie and Travis leads to a sweet sibling-like moment; and Bobby acts out his frustrations that Jules and Grayson are dating.

ABC just released these photos of Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston's television reunion.

Jennifer Aniston Set to Guest on ABC's Cougar Town

Jennifer Aniston is set to guest-star on the season premiere of ABC's Cougar Town.

In the episode, Jen will play Bonnie, Jules' shrink. The kind of therapist that will get too involved with Jules' life. Bonnie has the life Jules wishes she had.

ABC's Cougar Town Remains Cougar Town

ABC's Cougar Town won't change it's title. After searching for months for a replacement title, executive producer Bill Lawrence says a name change has been scrapped.

Bill Lawrence: "I'm not changing the title. We never thought of a good new one, which kind of sucks. And when you look at the modern landscape of television, changing the title means changing your DVR and all this other stuff. It'll be a funny burden to have. It might be the worst titled show of all time."

In related Cougar Town news... Jennifer Aniston will guest-star on one of the series' early second season episodes.

ABC Announces Fall Premiere Dates

ABC has announced its fall 2010 premiere dates. The network's premiere week kicks off the week of September 20.

Freshman series Body of Proof and Secret Millionaire will premiere in the fall, but dates have yet to be announced. As previously announced, Saturday Night Football premieres Saturday, September 4 @ 8pm.

ABC's Cougar Town Might Be Getting a Name Change

ABC is considering renaming the popular freshman hit Cougar Town as it enters its sophomore season.

The network is currently testing out new names via marketing research. The contenders include:

* Friends and Family
* Friends and Neighbors
* The Cul de Sac
* Neighborhood Jules
* Neighborhooding
* The End of the Street
* The Neighborhood

The series is trying to move away from the cougar reference, since the series has evolved passed the initial gimmick.

Sheryl Crow to Guest on ABC's Cougar Town

Sheryl Crow has landed a major recurring role on ABC's Cougar Town.

Crow will appear in multiple episodes on the freshman comedy hit. She will play Grayson's (Josh Hopkins) new girlfriend.

No other information has been released on her character (other than she won't be playing herself).

Crow debuts on Cougar Town in March.
